If you are copying text or any other content from Microsoft Word and other Microsoft programs in to any type of editor, then you might see some unwanted, weird characters in the editors. You might also observe that quotes and even other regular characters are not showing properly. The reason behind this is Microsoft Word and other Microsoft programs use different special characters in their documents. These special characters are used for creating different styles. When you copy content from Microsoft Word and other Microsoft programs these styles are not translated to HTML. In other words, the text editor where you are pasting the content does not recognize the specific styles used by the Microsoft programs. To avoid this, a simple workaround is to copy the content from the Microsoft Word and other Microsoft programs and paste it in to Notepad. Now, take the text out from the notepad and then paste it in to the editor. If there are any images in your content then you need to add them manually in your editor.
