Dot, Arrow and parentheses operators in C

Dot and Arrow operators are used for accessing individual elements of structures and unions. Dot operator is used directly to a structure and unions however; the arrow operator is used when a pointer to a structure or union is used. For Example:

x – >y = 56.53

Parentheses operators: Parentheses operators ( ) are used for precedence in an operation and [ ] are used for arrays. For example:

a [6] = 25;
