This post is about Net.TCP port sharing service, Network store interface service, Network location awareness service, and Network list Windows system services:
1) Net.TCP port sharing service: Net.TCP port sharing Windows service is used for sharing TCP ports. This Windows service is used by Net.TCP protocol.
2) Network store interface service: Network store interface Windows service is used for providing notifications if there is any change in the network interface. If this service is disabled, then there will be problems in connecting to a network.
3) Network location awareness service: Network location awareness (NLA) Windows service is used for saving network configuration information. This information is generally used by network applications. If this service is disabled, then some of the applications which depends on this service will not work.
4) Network list service: Network list Windows service is used for managing networks for which a Windows computer is connected. This Windows service is also used for managing properties and settings for each connected network. If this service is disabled, then services which depends on network list, will not work.
