In this post, I will describe how you can change the mouse pointer styles and schemes, enable pointer shadow for mouse and allow themes to change mouse pointers settings in Windows 7.
To change mouse pointer style, enable pointer shadow in Windows 7 follow the below given steps:
1) Click on Start menu and then click on Control Panel.
2) In Control Panel, from the right side, select “Small icons” from “View by” drop down menu.
3) Then, click on “Mouse”.
4) In Mouse Properties dialog box, go to “Pointers” tab,
i) Under Scheme: Here, using the drop down menu you can select a pre-defined mouse pointer style and scheme for your mouse. Also, can select a new mouse scheme from the “Customize” section and save it as a new mouse scheme.
ii) Browse button: Click on “Browse” button to pick a new style for the mouse pointer.
iii) Enable pointer shadow: Check this option to enable mouse pointer shadow.
iv) Allow themes to change mouse pointers: If you select this option then, your mouse pointer will be automatically changed when you change the theme in your Windows 7 computer.
5) To make the changes, click on “Apply” and then “OK”.
