Orthographic projection, Axonometric orthographic projection, Isometric Projection

Orthographic projection: In orthographic projection the view plane is perpendicular to the principle axis. Front, side and top projections are types of orthographic projection. It is used in engineering drawing, to draw machine parts and assemblies.

Axonometric orthographic projection: In this projection the view planes are not normal to principle axis. In this, multiple faces of an object is displayed. Here lines are parallel in projection but angles are not same.

Isometric Projection: (iso meaning equal, metric meaning measure) It is a type of axonometric orthographic projection. It is generated by aligning the view plane so that it intersects each coordinate axis in which the object is defined at the same distance from origin. All three principal axes are shortened and measurements along the axes are same.
