Halftone shading Method

While viewing a small area our eyes position themselves in such a way that the overall intensity of that area is recorded. Halftoning is a process of increasing the number of intensities by taking combine intensity of multiple pixels in to account. Halftone reproductions are usually done in 2×2 and 3×3 pixels. This process is used in black and white photographs and publishing of newspapers and books.
