Constant Intensity or faceted or flat Shading Method

This is the most common form of shading methods. For determining intensity value the illumination method is applied only once for each polygon Following assumptions are made before applying this algorithm:

1) Light source is at infinity, N .L is constant across polygon face.
2) Polygon is not an approximation to a curved surface.
3) Viewer is at infinity, V. R is constant over surface.
